By downloading, installing, or using the WindArrow QR Scanner application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. License Grant

WindArrow grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

3. User Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the App to scan or access any content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any third-party rights
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others when scanning QR codes

4. Camera and Device Permissions

The App requires access to your device's camera to scan QR codes. By granting camera permission, you acknowledge that the App will access your camera only when actively scanning codes. We do not store, transmit, or process camera data beyond the scanning function.

5. Scan History

The App stores your scan history locally on your device. You are responsible for managing and deleting your scan history. We are not responsible for any loss of scan history data due to device issues, uninstallation, or other causes.

6. Third-Party Content

When scanning QR codes, you may be directed to third-party websites, apps, or services. WindArrow is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of any third-party sites or services. You access third-party content at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WindArrow does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WindArrow SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Updates and Modifications

WindArrow reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which WindArrow operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Severability

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and WindArrow regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
